Komodo Indonesian Fauna Museum and Garden Reptiles or MFIK & TR 20 April 1978 inaugurated by the President of Indonesia at that time. Indonesian wildlife themed charm and diversity of the world with a total area of 1.5 ha which displays live and preserved animals. More than 150 kinds of animals preserved in vitrin-vitrin exhibited in a glass 2-story building shaped the giant Komodo.

The first floor featuring a diverse collection of preserved butterflies, fish, mammals and reptiles in their natural environment. The types of protected animals shown include Sumatran tigers, dragons, Sea Turtle, Butterfly, and others-lai.

Second floor mounted displays various types of birds that laid out according to their habitat, namely sea, beaches, swamps, rice paddies, jungle, and mountains that come from various regions in Indonesia.

On 19 April 2000 MFIK & TR presents event with the theme "Reptiles and Amphibians Park" presents a diverse collection of reptiles and amphibians live. more than 43 species of reptiles and amphibians are demonstrated and the area under the visitor can see, recognize, and interact with live animals reptiles and amphibians. Start of dragons, lizards, poisonous snakes, python, king cobra, iguanas, and other reptiles exhibited and placed in a glass cage, akuariun, free standing, and glass pools. In this museum there is also a "park Tap" where visitors can interact with living reptiles.
